INTRODUCTION
Master of Implantology of Athenea Dental Institute is a coursework program aimed at students who want to obtain the adequate professional training which will help them to manage the edentulism cases and carry out the necessary implantology treatments. It is a 2-year theory & hands-on master program validated by the University San Jorge which offers 60 credit points (ECTS), and which you can easily combine with your professional practice.
CREDITS: 60 ECTS.
TYPE: Part-time Master’s Program, 2 years, one module (2-3-days) per month.

OBJECTIVES
To train the students:
- To improve their knowledge in dentistry related to the field of implantology.
- To train students in managing the situations in which edentulism treatment is needed with self-confidence and quality work.
- To train students in working as a part of an interdisciplinary team carrying out the implantology treatments.
- To train students in organizing the implantology services within a dental clinic.

All our students will attend lectures and courses given by well-known professionals in the field of implantology. They should also attend national and international congresses and present a poster or give an oral presentation at some of them.
DIPLOMA
The student, after finishing the program and passing the subjects required by the Program designed by Athenea Dental Institute and validated by San Jorge University, will obtain the following diplomas:
- Master in Implantology with the academic load of 60 ECTS, issued by Athenea Dental Institute
- Título Propio de Postgrado: Máster en Implantología, with the load of 60 ECTS, validated by San Jorge University.

The uniform will be provided by Athenea Dental Institute.
REQUIREMENTS AND ADMISSION:
- Completed application form.
- Notarized copy of a corresponding Graduation Diploma (Dentistry or Stomatology). In case of foreign diploma, it should be officially accredited by corresponding Spanish authorities.
- Academic certificate of obtained qualifications (original or notarized copy).
- Photocopy of ID or passport.
- Two color ID-sized photographs, and jpg format.
- Resume.
- Recommendation letter (optional).
- Motivation letter.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Personal interview.
If a student doesn’t respect the established installments, his admission will be considered cancelled.
If a student pays the total of matriculation fees, but they want to cancel, the following protocol will be followed:
- If the cancellation takes place before the beginning of the academic course, the student will have the right to claim the refund of the total amount except for 350 euros as long as their seat can be refilled by the admission of other student.
- The student will not have any right to the refund if the cancellation takes place after the beginning of the academic course.

Athenea Dental Institute and Master Management reserve the right to modify the credits’ costs. Likewise, the schedule and the contents of theory&hands-on program are subjected to changes according to the clinical and lecturing needs of the master’s studies in question.

Athenea Dental Institute and Master Management reserve the right to modify the credits’ costs. Likewise, the schedule and the contents of theory&hands-on program are subjected to changes according to the clinical and lecturing needs of the master’s studies in question.
1st year: 8.400 euros*.
2nd year: 9.600 euros*.

Way of payment, 1st year
- 20% as a booking of the place upon being accepted: 2.400 euros.
- 20% upon signing the Contract: 2.400 euros
- 10 monthly installments of 360 euros
Way of payment, 2nd year
- Matriculation: 2.950 euros
- 10 monthly installments of 665 euros
Registrations carried out before December 15th, 2020 will be subject of 20% of discount of the Matriculation fee amount.
If a student pays the whole amount in only one payment, they will have a 3% of discount per year.
