DIPLOMA OF EXPERTISE IN ESTHETIC ORTHODONTICS: LINGUAL AND INVISIBLE

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this Course are:

  • To provide the students with the theory-hands-on bases necessary to be able to carry out the malocclusion treatments with lingual appliances, to carry out the diagnosis and the treatment plan, to be familiar with the used appliances, to be familiar with the protocols of insertion, adapting and activation of appliances in all stages of the treatment.
  • To provide the students with the theory-hands-on bases necessary to be able to carry out the malocclusion treatments with sequential transparent aligners, to carry out the diagnosis and the treatment plan, to be familiar with the used appliances, to be familiar with the protocols of insertion, adapting and activation of aligners in all stages of the treatment.
  • To provide the students with the theory-hands-on bases necessary to be able to carry out the case finishing with an interdisciplinary approach including the treatments like teeth whitening, veneers, etc.

DESCRIPTION

With this Diploma of University Expert, the student will get familiar with the bases of Lingual Orthodontics, the biomechanical bases on which it is based, to carry out the clinical and laboratory stages necessary for the malocclusion treatments carried out with this type of appliances.

LEARNING RESULTS

After finishing the University Expert’s Program, the student will be able to:

  • Know the indications and limitations of lingual technique.
  • Know the indications and limitations of invisible aligners technique.
  • Know the appliances used in this technique, their design, how to insert them and activate them.
  • Know how to include the esthetic orthodontics technique in the work of a private practice.
  • Carry out esthetic orthodontics treatments of moderate and middle difficulty level.

DIPLOMA

The student, after finishing the Program designed by Athenea Dental Institute and validated by San Jorge University, will obtain the following diplomas:

  • University Expertise in Esthetic Orthodontics: Lingual and Invisible with lecturing hours of 20 ECTS, issued by Athenea Dental Institute.

  • Título propio de Diploma de Experto en Ortodoncia Estética: Lingual e Invisible, with lecturing hours of 20 ECTS, issued by San Jorge University.

 

The course DIPLOMA OF UNIVERSITY EXPERTISE IN ESTHETIC ORTHODONTICS: LINGUAL AND INVISIBLE by ATHENEA DENTAL INSTITUTE, is validated by the SAN JORGE University from Zaragoza (Spain).  

This course consists of 160 theory hours and 340 hours of independent work, which gives 500 hours in total. The student will obtain 20 ECTS.

ADMISSION

The number of places is limited, and they will be allotted by the first book first given system. The registrations received after the completing the available places will be put on waiting list in case of cancellations. The registration fee of those who don’t achieve a place will be paid back in its totality.

 

CANCELLATION

If a student doesn’t respect the established installments, his admission will be considered cancelled. If a student pays the total of matriculation fees, but he wants to cancel, the following protocol will be followed:

  • If the cancellation takes place before the beginning of the academic course, the student will have the right to get the refund of the total amount of what he paid except for 350 euros as long as his seat can be replaced by the admission of other student.
  • The student will not have the right to any refund if the cancellation takes place after the beginning of the academic course.

 

OBSERVATIONS

Theory classes will be held with audiovisual aid.

Making photos or total or partial recording of the courses is strictly forbidden.

PRICE

Course price: 8.500 euros

Registrations carried out before August 31st 2019 will be subject of 50% of discount of the Matriculation fee amount.
If a student pays the whole amount in only one payment, they will have a 3% of discount per year.

 

WAY OF PAYMENT

Matriculation: 750 euros
Payment by direct debit: 7.750 euros in 10 monthly installments of 775 euros (October 2019 to June 2020).
